    Greetings!
Just settling into ownership of my third 'blade, an RR7 in HRC colours. Previously owned an RRT (918) and an RRY (929).

Its completely standard, and totally mint... only done 4600 miles.

Although I like the looks as standard, I am looking to do a few tasteful mods, but need help/advice, hence why I joined this forum. I would like to fit:
    - double bubble, but cannot decide which make, or tint would look best (leaning towards MRA, but no idea if clear, light tint or dark tint would best suit)
    - tail tidy (R&G, but it seems to show too much of the exhaust...)
    - braided lines (HEL... fitted them on previous bikes, love them)

I will no doubt be picking your brains for advice, and generally bugging you all with silly questions... go easy on me!

Hiya and welcome, i've always used the MRA double bubble screens, when i did my 04 and 05 tail tidies i used a mix of r&g and standard parts so i could keep the plastic side pieces covering the exhaust..

Welcome Gappy, I don’t do rain either, I don’t do wet, I don’t do cold. Why would we if we have a Freedom of choice.

Without a word of a lie, there isnt a single mark on it..... many BRAND NEW bikes aren't as pristine as this one.

Cant believe how active this forum is...... had previously joined another fireblade forum which I wont name, trying to get advice/hints/opinions about the mods I want to do..... NOTHING... can practically see the tumbleweeds casually rolling through that place... not so here I see!

Nice bike, and welcome to the forum.

My mate has the very same bike as yours and we fitted the evotech tail tidy to his bike and I've got to say it really does the job your looking for.
I also had a MRA screen for my other bike and really rate the quality of their stuff. I'd go for the light tint version on your blade.

Another poster mentioned EvoTech... hadnt considered that, will take a look, thanks.

MRA are, in my opinion, the best quality screens on the market. Most of my mates have fitted Powerbronze, and they cost similar but look so much cheaper! Another option is Fabbri, which I had on my last blade and quite liked.

What I really need, is some pictures of an HRC-coloured 07 blade with a light-tint MRA D-B, and an Evotech tail-tidy...... I hate taking the plunge and buying stuff before I am totally happy about what it will look like....... overly cautious perhaps!

I'll see if I can find a pic if the tail tidy, but I'm sure you'll agree the screen looks the mutts.

Hi and welcome to the site
I had the same bike as that and I had a Harris rear hanger and it looked great. It also works well to strap things to if you use a tailpack
