Due to not having time i am thinking of putting up for sale my GSXR 750 H. I have rebuilt the calipers but they need refitting and bleeding etc. The bodywork is currently off and stored. Clutch master cylinder needs freeing up and probably a service kit. Braided lines. Engines run perfectly. No tax or MOT. All parts are there, it would seem. £500. Genuine project.

Seeing as it's your birthday ( happy BJ day mega ) perhaps you might be honoured with a pm reply, it would seem neither Carl's nor my enquiry were deemed serious enough to warrant our questions being answered. It might sound like I am annoyed, far from it, just slightly bemused.

Just read your posts and im afraid i agree but apologies as the world has gone mad recently. Just wanted to get a few details before i replied to everyone and as the bike isnt on my premises its a bit awkward.

I think it has done about 32k miles. 9 former owners ! Registered 12/11/1986. I have the V5 in my name. I havent had it on the road but i do have some documentation including MOTs going back a few years.

I have had it since the beginning of the year. I have stripped cleaned and fitted new seals to the front calipers. Also fitted braided lines to the front. I have some new pads waiting to go in. The brakes were seized solid. They should just require bleeding now. The rear brake needs attention. The underslung caliper is a crap design as it fills up with crud. Think it may need a new caliper which are widely available. Think a bandit caliper may fit but not sure. Needs front brake lever.

It has a new battery fitted. It was only running on 3 cylinders so i stripped the carbs and found a blocked air jet on 1 cylinder. All cleaned it now runs perfectly and revs well with no smoke.

The problem at the moment is the clutch master cylinder. It was quite badly seized and needs freeing up. May need a new seal \ service kit but these can be found on ebay for a few quid.

It has an aftermarket exhaust. Nexus i think. The originals rot through.

Tyres are good very little use.

The bike has original paintwork and the fairings seem ok but it looks to have been dropped at some point. Some areas of damage on the side panels.

All of the electrics work and i fitted a new battery. Oil is fresh and filter was changed.

I bought it with the intention of restoring it but sadly my house has taken precedence. I need to clear the bike as i really need the space in the garage for my blade and track bike.

The solo seat is removable to reveal the pillion.

I have a haynes workshop manual which will go with the bike.

Looking for £500. Please email me if you require any further details. [email protected]

Viewing is possible but i will need to get it out of the garage first. No mean feat believe me ha.....

Once again apologies for the slow response.

    Cheers

I think so. Just waiting on pix of slightly damaged bits. I can sort most things and need a project to cheer myself up. Didn't want to step on anyone elses toes, but me n Mike have had a long chat and provided all is in order and fixable, I will be picking up next week. It's my birthday today and I owned a D reg 750F in the 80s. Loved that bike. I am slowly getting my shit together and my finances. The bike will be worked on, in the warm, in my empty conservatory. The Blade should have it's engine change completed soon. Then it's clean up and sort the fookin carbs and sparks.

Hi Mike, I did try sending you an e mail but unfortunately your e mail address doesn't appear to work. I am still interested in the bike, so if megawatt doesn't want it please let me know. Sorry I can't pm you direct but I'm too new to the forum for the system to allow me to. Rgds. Cass
