Well I decided thru the winter to strip the gixer down to get some brackets and the wheels powder coated, However as some of you know I've been a bit preoccupied with a zx7r track bike so the gixer has taken a back seat. I decided to start to but the old girl back together, just insured her for the pricely sum of £35. Only the op on my hand stops me from riding ( although I think the doc would have a pissy fit if he knew what I've been doing to build it back up !! )
To be fair she wasn't in bad nick to start, I bought her in 1993 with 2000 miles on the clock , so I'm the second owner and she's done 24000 now. Been thru two divorces and nine house moves and managed to come thru mostly unscathed
