I had the Blade in for it's first service today at Grantham Honda no problems, reach the half way point home and there's what you may as well class as a tropical monsoon. My OCD at this point is going wild!, Another 30 miles of being soaked wet through to go come to some slow moving traffic give it some gas as I pass the rear slips on a centre white line on.. Serious brown pants moment and counter steer and I held it. Lucky boy!

Couldn't use my sodding hose pipe so settled for the local Jet Wash four hours of cleaning later I'm over the experience.

Moral of the story listen to the wife! She said it would rain and I feel a right plum!!

I have to say I get no smiles riding in torrential rain, ice or snow but I've mastered the dry and damp just not water logged roads and near zero visibility!! :D

Doesn't sound like a nice experience Rich, good job you kept it upright though. I need to practice more in the wet, not so sure how my BSB Corsas will perform in the wet though, not exactly a load of tread on them.

It could have been worse Rich.

Blaggers could have delivered it back for you.

No, fair do's. We love him dearly, but nobody here would ask him to go up a ladder at the moment.

If its raining, if it looks like it might rain, if the weather forecasters are saying it wont rain !. mine stays in the garage. Last time I got caught in the rain not only was I soaked piss wet through my teeth hurt for hours afterwards. So on that experience my current bike has never and hopefully never will see the wet.
