Thought I'd draft the hair dryer out and have a pick at the decals on my fairings .

I still have all my originals bubble wrapped these are my spare road set and I was bored ha ha these will just be put on bike to go around Europe touring and they all cosy less than venture shield and I don't care scuffing cracking them etc

Not my blade at end but will look summat like

Oooo ooo! Get a pic up when they're on later wedge? I'd be interested to see that shape of blade in plain white. Atleast your power ranger suit will match perfectly now!

That's not wedgies bike in the last picture, so it'll be a us bike, hence the reflector.

I've seen this done on us sites too and not sure I prefer it over the hrc colour. It does as you say give a base to play with and experiment with other schemes.

How did you get on with the tank, isn't that the only area where clear coat is over the stickers?

I really like that Wedgie - if it was mine I'd get onto a decal cutter and try and do the fairings like the 2008 white and black paint scheme which my bike started life as - I assume they are original panels with the deep pearl white finish?

If you had carbon mudguard and hugger you could also do the wheels in white - adding some black / HRC stripes like Fez has would set if off no end.

Will post up a pic of my 2008 to give you an idea.

I have a nice set of 2012 wheels set aside ready to paint white.... Can't decide if I should or if I should spend my money on a second bike (see my gsxr600 thread) If I end up buying this other bike I'll have my set if 2012 rims for sale.

Get them done - sure you've got connections to get them powdercoated up no problem
