Decent piece of kit, except for the misleading lifetime warranty, it does not apply to moving parts, so the ratchets and ratchet spanners (in the bigger kit) are not covered as I found out when a ratchet failed.

The reality is that the most common failure will be the ratchet mechanisms

All my tools are halfords pro and can't fault them on quality, had a couple of sockets split (while hammering them onto bigger rounded bolts ;) shhhhhh) and replaced with no questions

Decent set for the money, even if their 'non sale' prices are a bit misleading. I broke a ratchet on mine, you can get a ratchet repair kit if needed

Pretty much all of my tools are from Halfords. Each one of them has stood up to nearly 5 years of constant use and I have not had a problem with then yet. Great tools I say.

Good value for money tools on average

Also had a 1/4 ratchet go on me. It did not stop me going back for a 300NM torque wrench though.

Sounds like you got a good bargain there, enjoy.
