Doing quite a few rounds this year that might see me setting up on the grass. What have you guys used to get your bike up on the paddock stands without trouble? Looked at chequer plate but its not cheap
Icarus almost got funded for this for his racing events............keeps him off the grass and gives a lil bit of shelter!
Ha, nearly bankrupt and the season hasn't even started. Thankfully the army motorsport association supply a lot of the paddock stuff
I got a lot of rubber foam sort of clip together matting. That works well how much du want I could split some if I had a count up mayb
Get yourself down the nearest Ikea. They put all the broken bits of furniture out for 'free recycling' so you can just go and grab whatever wood you want for free.
Yeah, a wardrobe door would do it. Ideal length, width and thickness. Just make sure it's not a mirrored one! I think they have a cheap corner in there too where they sell bits like individual cupboard doors and cushions from settees etc. for next to nowt.
Good point. However, if you stuck those interlocking foam pads on top it would be ideal, or even some switchroom floor 11000v insulated rubber. Maybe only recognised by electricians etc. Not cheap though but there maybe someone on here who'd have access to some? http://uk.rs-online.com/web/p/electrical-safety-mats/4716254/
Here ya go! A little cheaper for the tight feckers amongst you! (a little more realistic but probably not good enough for 11kv! haha http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Ribbed-Ru...761564?hash=item1a0210229c:g:A7cAAOSwPcVVr~Sn
We are still talking about mats for sitting a bike on rite??? Or Is the club/endurance races got more exciting by adding the threat of electrocution in the paddock into the mix???
20 quid sheet of ply with chicken wire stapled on to make it non slip. Some of you guys have too much money.
