Basically I had a shot of my cousins 2012 zx6r the other week and once again I loved it Im getting the urge to sell the blade for one, the handling the sound the way it just feels to ride has got me thinking that it would make a brilliant track day weapon and generally a more hooligan feeling everyday weapon. I know its down on power to the blade but the shear corner speed this this carries on track should make up for the lack of rush down the straights Also the fact you can pick them up for around 5K makes me think is it worth the punt selling the blade and pocketing the change. My other options were either the ZX10 or an aprilia RSV4 but both of those would be less of a punt due to the fact their either worth as much or slightly more than my blade. So has anyone taken the hit and moved down to a 600 and loved it??? or am I just going to hate myself for the lack of power (I did on a 2005 600rr and loved it before but that was my second bike)
i went from an 05 blade to a 2010 zx6 (pretty much the same as 2012) and still have it! it has 25k on the clocks and still in use everyday, the handling like you say is spot on and a easy bike to ride quick on a daily basis. im in the market for a new bike after xmas and have been looking at a blade/bmw as i do miss the power but for some reason cant over look another zx6 or 636
