Not entirely sure here but seeing some 08 onward blades, don't think I've seen any other than mine without the CBR Fireblade logo on the side fairings. Have I had aftermarket plastics put on or did some come without the logo?
We have already discussed that yours carries the pre-2004 logo. That could have come about due to re-painted originals or complete aftermarket set. However, if they're after market, not many go to the trouble of putting on the OEM tank badges. As stated above, the only way you'll know for sure is to take one off. Not really a lot of effort, but at least you'll have your definitive answer.
@nigelrb yeah, I remember that. Wasn't sure if the CBR Fireblade logo I've seen on other bikes was decals or part of the shape of the mould of the fairings. It's just making me think there's been crash damage to the bike that's been repaired
Original owner could simply have removed the original CBR badges. As previously said, just remove them and check oem markings !
