I feel really angry looking at it and am pretty sure that I'd have taken off my helmet and swung it through the side window of his car.

That taxi driver should lose his taxi licence. I wouldn't feel right putting my wife in a car he was driving!

Typical, and if you beat the little fcuk after he nutted you, you would be up in front of the magistrate on an assault charge after the Police reviewed HIS video evidence!!. Its all bolox if you ask me.

If that was my wife I'm afraid it would be me looking for him on the ranks. He was in the wrong for dropping a passenger off in a dangerous area in the first place. That behaviour is totally unacceptable to a male or female especially from a public service individual still at work.Taxi drivers do have it in for bikers, why God knows.Get a group of lads in his taxi and take him up the woods.

How has he not got a criminal damage charge for knocking the bike over ?
Most police forces have a website/Facebook page so I wonder what their
Response would be to this video if posted.

I can't believe what I have just seen! Not only a women, but how can it be ok to do that to a bloke! Not to mention the damage to the bike!

I would march into the station with that footage ask to speak to the highest ranking officer you can and I'm sure they will re-look into it and take it alot more serious, failing that sell the story to the paper and show how helpful the police have been (no offence to any cops on here, there are plenty of you that to the job to the best of your power but unfortunately there are more lazy t***ers than decent ones lately)

Presuming she got his number she could always arrange for her bike to be repaired at Fowlers, drop bike off, show everyone there the video then someone could possibly call for taxi for her to get home and see who turns up.........

That’s just made my blood boil. Back in the day, in my late teens when my ex wife was my live in girlfriend, she and her bezzy mate came home from a do, a bit worse for the drink, she walked in the house in tears and said the taxi driver (waiting outside for them to get the fare) had just commented that he thought they was a right up for it and he would waver the fare if they gave him a BJ. In my pre management negotiation trained state I ran out with soup ladle in hand (yes I know, but it was the first thing to hand) to discuss the matter. After breaking the drivers side window and landing a fair few blows on the driver the event was over and he drove off without getting paid. That was until the boys in blue turned up, blue lights flashing and dragged me out the house wanting to arrest me for criminal damage and assault. Luckily the guy that lived next door was also one of West Midlands plods finest and convinced his on duty bobby buddies that he had witnessed the whole event and it was a 50/50 and they went away without any charges being filed, but it cost me a large drink I can tell you.

I agree with Martinowen the female motorcyclist should pursue this further with the Police with the CCTV footage in order to get compensation for the damage to the bike. If the Police will not do anything I would speak to a specialist motorcycle solicitor, I know its not a traffic accident, but it is a traffic altercation caused by the taxi blocking the junction and as a result of that a motorist gets assaulted. Who in there right mind would head butt a helmet ? pity he did,nt break his nose.

If the police do nothing (which would not surprise me hugely) then the council and taxi firm will. It cannot be hard to find out who this man works for and have the council revoke his license and the company will sack him. And a solicitor should be onto this.
