    Hi guys
Need your opinion on a problem I have with my 07 blade , when I bought the bike I noticed scorch marks on the LHS lower fairing and after removing it I found it had melted on the back side . I bought a heat resistant cloth type thing on a roll and lapped the exhaust pipes and re assembled the fairings. Yesterday I took the bike for a spin and when I returned home I was cleaning the bike and noticed the fairing still really really hot , any ideas on what to do now ? , the heat resistant wrap doesn't seem to be too heat resistant !!!!

I don't know if it's standard but my RR4 has metallised heat tape stuck to the inside of the fairing on the points near the exhaust.
