Well bought my first ever set of heated grips for a bike.
Went with the Oxford advanced sportsbike ones from sportsbikeshop for £63 as couldn't justify £350 for Honda OEM ones.
They are a bit more bulky than rental one si have been using but not too much thicker than OEM honda grips.
Easy enough to fit, hardest part was trying to do wiring nice and tidy and trying to get control out of way , as not keen on it when its faster to clutch fitting.
Just hope sticky pads holds it on where I've stuck it.

Spent 35+ years commuting 12 months a year in all weathers, one of the greatest technical advances known to man on a cold January’s night when it’s starting to snow ;)

Used to run my 929 through the winter with heated grips, bar muffs and a top box. Too old for that shit now and can't be arsed to pick frozen snot out of my scarf.

I've got the Oxford ones on my VFR. They're really good and too hot on 100%. Only issue I had with them they would turn themselves off at certain speeds on the motorway! The battery save function is meant to detect noise on the battery when the bike is running, the V4 must confuse it at certain RPMs and think the bike is no longer running. Ended up disabling the battery save function and wiring them in through a relay.

    I admire you guys.
If it looks like rain I consider taking the car.
I've paid my foul weather dues on boats out where we had real weather.

First thing I ordered when I bought my blade was a set of Oxford heated grips after having them on my 600RR, autumn dry cold bike rides they just help take the edge off the icy cold wind.

Heated grips don't help a frozen arse. Just fitted (slung on) this on my KTM. Lush and plush, that's how I roll...

I took it off later that evening. I often belligerently ignore the disparaging views of others but when my eldest daughter said it made me "the same as all those tragic accountants you hate who buy harleys and ride around with tassels on their jackets" my resolve broke.

So I put it on my suzuki instead...
