I know I will get slated for this but, fitted the Oxford ones today. Rode about 50/60 miles with them and superb. They do feel a bit harder than the oem ones, though I think I will get used to them.I dont commute on mine but I do hate cold fingers at the start and end of the season.Heat up rate is pretty quick.

No reason why U should get 'slated' mate?

Have you a pic of where you put the controller?

I've got them on the Blackbird and I've got to say they are a god send on cold days.

That's a good one (being slated) as I used to knock about with a few lads and one had a Busa and he got the heated grips so all the old man crack came out but as we all stopped at the garage in tears he was laughing his cock off (still never got them) and even this morning we where all in pray mode kneeling next to the exhaust tapping the hands on it .

I got the Oxford Heated Sports Grips and it's one of my best options on the bike.
They are a little bit softer than the basic heated Grips.
I am riding all year, including in cold weather and I was stupid that I never considered heated grips on my other bikes before.
Sometimes I had to make a brake because I couldn't move my fingers any more ( freezing cold ).
Therefore , never buy a bike without heated grips, except if you are riding the bike only in the summer, in Spain.....

That's where I had it on my Ducati. I hope they've improved the control as you had to hold the button down for so many seconds on mine and it was a bugger in gloves on the move.

Don't really understand the old man jokes. I've seen literally several people wear coats this winter. That looks a neat fitting. I'm looking forward to mine. As above I've ridden in cold enough weather for the lack of feel to be potentially dangerous. I want to avoid that.

I don't mind the cold, to be honest. I rode into work this morning and it was bitter, but that's fine. I am getting encroachingly arthritic in the knuckles of my right hand though and the heated grips made that so much easierto ride with, even in the summer.

Arthritic right hand? Is that from smashing up so many Cornishmen, K? :)

No, god bless them. I would never harm one of them. You will come across much, much worse than the Cornish on the peninsula. My wife's family comes from Barnstaple, for example.

And the hand? That's just mileage mate.

Just fitted the datatool thermol grips to mine, no control box its all built into the left grip:)

    Like these

Datatool Heated Grips Therma Grip Heated Hand Grips on eBay!

The get really hot, Ive always had heated goves before but find them so bulky so giving these a go as they are the cheaper option to the new gerbing heated gloves
