Quick request here - friend has moved into a rented property which has this ancient time clock (which is also really noisy) and she has no idea how to work it. Cannot find any instructions on the net / manufacturers page Also anyone know what it could be replaced with (without vast cost, subject to owners approval) https://vimeo.com/96750073
Most C/H Timeclocks are 2 or 3 wire units. Two wires are just a live supply with a 'Demand' feed/trigger back to the Boiler. 3 Wires usually have a Neutral so then a 'Mains Powered' controller can be used. Hot Water control will have a 4th wire. (All above is ignoring an Earth core, which may or may not be present!) £35-80 depending on unit chosen. Piece of Piss, even 4 U Al!
