    Hi guys
Just had a set of HEL braided front brake hoses fitted to my bike. Unfortunatelly the bottom banjo`s are pointing inwards rather than outwards. Please would you check your fitment and post up pictures showing your front brake callipers and the banjo bolt and which direction the lines flow from the banjo.
    Many thanks
    Rich

I have this problem as well, I first noticed there was a problem when I had to remove the calipers after the lines were installed, because of pointing inwards it makes the top bolt virtually impossible to remove, if they were facing outwards there would be no problem ! and clearance would be ok to remove the bolt.

You can twist the banjos round with pliers. Grip the silver collar with pliers, slip a screwdriver through the banjo, and twist u until it lines up. HEL recommend to do this to line them up.

If you turn the banjos 180 they will face the wrong way round.

Its not hard to see they face the wrong direction and obstruct the caliper mounting bolts after all brake lines are SIMPLE! I have fitted hundreds of them in the last 25 years!!!

The lug on the caliper is so the banjos can be torqued up with out spinning the banjo round hence why they are both on the right of the banjo. The lines are one long and one short, the upper banjos do not turn RH or LH so the lines can only go ONE way!

    This is Bladeracers lines:-

Yes i had the same problem, but you can manipulate the fittings with a grip from pliers or molegrips and twist the fitting to where they need to be.

    Slightly off topic

Arthur what is the thread pitch on the pressure switch??

I changed to the venhill lines but because of the stock limit switch getting in the way of the top banjos i the foul on the top edge of the infill panel over the air tubes!

Lee yours are correct (other than the left banjo could go round a smidge...;) ) it's ours that are incorrect, you can only fit the short line on the right and the long on the left, I could see no way you could have the short on the left, that's the only way you could reverse the banjos on these lines.

No they look right mate, they face outwards leaving space to remove the mounting bolts. Out of interest where did you get them?
