Hi guys and girls. I live in Liverpool and own a few bikes, one of which I use on track which is an RR8 blade which I bought from 'Yorkshiregooner' last year, rode it at Oulton Park at the end of the season and loved it straight away. I've had the following bikes on track, GSXR600 K4 then GSXR750 K6 and then an RSVR1000 Factory which I still use as a spare bike. The blade is a great bike to ride, feel really comfortable pushing it into corners at speed, sure footed all the time. Joined this forum to hopefully help and be helped over time and meet like minded bikers. I'm 59 now but still love the thrill of speed on 2 wheels but keep it to the track these days. Managed to get pushed into fast group with the blade which will keep me thinking positive and learn how to get quicker by following faster guys (like my eldest son) and learn, learn, learn. I'm an electrical engineer (E&I Support) which can be useful to help out at times and do nearly all of my own work on the bikes. When I retire in a few years I will have my own workshop totally dedicated to building up track bikes and road bikes, attending training schemes from now to carry out my own fabrication and welding, spraying, lathe work etc, etc to be self sufficient (can't wait). There you go! that's me. Speak to you all soon........ Just getting my blade upgraded and painted in 2012 TT Legends colours, nearly there so Ill post. My avatar is in the original colours WFR Team
