Resisting the Oooo er urge. I wear a single contact lens. Only short sighted in one eye. And that one waters bad visor up, or worse with the sun shield down and the visor up. Visor down I'm snug as a bug, but with it up, very uncomfortable. I bought a pair of cheap wrap around polarising shades with foam backing that seals nicely against my face and they're perfect. I'd like to find some with yellow high contrast lenses for night riding.
it must be a deflection thing and your snood is changing the airflow a bit. I suspect if you road full visor up it wouldn't be as bad either. A new helmet with slightly different shape may well change the airflow, but it might make it worse too.

Ken look in your local ski shop, you can get exactly what your after, I got a set with clear, yellow and dark lenses which just pop straight out an swap over, great for when conditions change when skiing and reckon they would be awesome for the bike if that's what your after.

Mine are up the loft, I'll find out the make and let you know...

As for original post, it's weird but I think your eyes condition to the wind and watering the more you ride, mine stream at the start of the season but are fine after a few weeks riding??? Wtf is that about!

Dave v still doesnt believe me! Lol but I ride loads with the visor up and im fine after a few weeks - like a couple of pebbles in me skull

I get watering eyes, especially from my Arai Quantum. Doesn't happen with my Shoei X Spirit. Despite that when I change from Shoei to Arai, there is something about an Arai that just feels 'right'.

I've got dry eyes and daft as it sounds my eyes water with a wiff of cold air. I have a Schuberth S1Pro and it's very snugg and quiet but I still get problems with eyes watering on a cool day due to air flow up the inside of the visor from the front air vent. If I shut the vent no problems but it gets stuffy. I now wear a pair of Oakly wrap around sunglasses and the problem is solved.
Good luck sorting it out but don't buy cheapo sunglasses as the optics are crap. The Oakleys are better than my prescription glasses.
