I made the mistake of turning the ignition on on my 929 with a non transponder key. Now the thing wont start with the proper key and the HISS light stays on. I was just taking it to swap it for a Tiger (im keeping the RRW) and the bloody thing wont go. Anyone help. Anyone know Masterbladers number?
Normally you have to put the bike into "program mode" to register keys, odd it's now shut down as this can happen if the antenna does not pickup the transponder for any reason, normally if that's the case you can just re inset the key and away you go! Disconnect the battery for 5 mins and try it again... I guess that's your only transponder key?
Er, first off i'm an idiot. I was using the non transponder key to try and start the bloody thing! It should have been a clue that the proper key has got Honda printed on it. Yes, yes, i'm a knobend!!!
