If you have the centre nut off the drum should come off then there will be a few bolts holding the basket on. Not done a Honda clutch, just Ducati but they cannot be that different.

Centre nut is off that is all that holds basket to central shaft, the plates are all out (which has a spacing sleive and a bearing race) the basket moves freely but the engine casing and the central spline shaft fowl on the basket. there must be a nack to it.
there is a steel spacer pressed into the centre of the basket do I remove this?
So frustrating as I can see the tiny part that I need to fix to mend the selector shaft but cant reach it

    Done it!!!!!!!
fewwwww. Once the bearing race is out the way it gives you the extra 2mm to allow clearance.......rest of job looks straight forward.
There is a good You Tube vid if you search cbr1000rr 2008 clutch removal;)

some spacers like that will have a small threaded hole facing out to allow you to thread in a screw/bolt and remove it. make sure you refit it the same way.
