Hi all, firsty thanks for the warm welcome, advice & laughs! I am getting somewhat frustrated about the weather... I have decided to buy a winter hack,(to keep my Blade pristine!) dont worry I am looking at another Honda (possibly a CBR600F) anyway i have found a couple on the interweb and now want to do a HPI check, however the net is full of site claiming to shower me with sunshine and flowers when all i want is a decent service and true knowledge about the bike I am looking at. I have used the one on ebay - (non Uk tax paying b%stards) and have been charged and got no report - (credit card company kicked their ass for a refund - not a lot of money but its was my money!) Anyone recommend a 'good' site please as i will be buying privately and not from a dealer.

Would a HPI check be any good if it was cloned?

They would have the change the chassis number to do a proper job of a clone but this is usually quite obvious as they would have to grind off the old one and re stamp etc
