Hi guys Looking around for a 2006/7 1000rr and have come across 2 x black versions - one appears to be shiny black upper fairing with a matt belly pan and the other apparently same year is black and grey on the upper fairings question is can anyone tell me why or what is the diference ie 05/06 model year verses 06/07 ? any help would be much appreciated.
the models which are similar are 04 & 05, then there is a side fairing change on the 06 & 07 models. There where quite a few engine mods & colour changes between the two, but the main & quick visual difference is the fairing around the engine.06/07 you can see more of the engine. your signature pic is 06/07 mine is 04/05 , hope this helps ?
I believe the 07 model Blade was black with the gun metal grey Honda wing graphic going across the tank and mid fairing. So the plain black fairing would be 06.
As above RR6/7 loads of engine mods, bodywork changes, shorter wheelbase, different geo, bigger front discs, different rear caliper, catalyser, lighter, typical Honda evolution, goes better, handles better , looks better than RR4/5.
