Hi all, Have a bit of an issue with the bike, was hoping to get some assistance from the forum... I have fitted a new exhaust system at the weekend all went well and up and running but I have managed to get the passenger seat stuck onto the bike and the release lock doesn't work anymore I was removing the wires from the standard exhaust under the tail and can only imagine I've done something to the lock too... Anyone experienced the same issue or similar can offer any insight in trying to get the seat back off? any help, ideas greatly appreciated.
Had the same problem when I fitted renntec rack to my 07 blade, I just banged down on the seat & turned key at same time, might work!!!!
Yep, had the same problem when I put the Rentec grab rail on my 954. I only got it to release after putting my full weight on the squab while i turned the key and I still thought the key was going to snap.
When doing any modifications it's always worth closing locking mechanisms slowly and lightly at first just to makes sure they are still adjusted correctly!
