Hi guys, I have 08 fireblade and I am thinking to put Leo Vince GP on it. But can anybody tell me what to do with that lambda sensor from stock exhaust, when new exhaust is on and this sensor is stil conected into its clip under fairing and that end which I took of the stock exhaust it's just hanging down everything is ok but when I unclipp it there is amber engine light flushing on dashboard and when I plug it back in it's ok. And I also tryed blank plug, but that amber light still on. And how much is this exhaust going to mess up milage per tank? with stock exhaust I managed to get 178miles per tank on motorway. Anybody can help please. Very apriciate. Thanks

No m8. I went to honda dealer and they give me some blank plug. One which has no cable going out of it. Just plug. They said should be ok but it's not.

Sounds like you need an O2 eliminator mate. The blanking plug goes into te aftermarket can, the O2 eliminator plugs into where the original O2 sensor did behind the left fairing.

Ok next question is do you have a power commander? If so you defo need an O2 eliminator.

If not then is there not a nut in the pipe work of the exhaust that the lamba sensor can plug into?

Yes. I have power comander and exhaust which I try to put on is DanMotoGP and there is nothing on it to plug this sensor into. That is why I am thinking of getting leo vince. Also with this exhaust on, I only managed to get 69 milkes per tank and tank is almost empty. Sound and look realy awesome and was very cheap compare to rest. But I saved enought to get that leo Vince now. So I am trying to get as much info before I waste any more money.

Ok now we know what you have you defo need to get an O2 eliminator and fit it to the bike, blank off the exhaust with the plug, and just tie wrap the lamba sensor up out of the way somewhere. That will deal with the flashing light.

Next thing you want to do is download a map from the dynojet website that best suits your setup. Ie Leo can, and any other mods like airfilter and what not. This will sort the fuelling and also improve your mpg and how the bike rides.
This will only set your bike up to say 90% of what it can be. If you want it to run perfect then get the bike into a dyno centre for them to custom set you power commander to your bike.

I'd defo say the Leo is better known of, and therefore I'd say better developed.

You'll be looking at around £150-£180 for a custom map.

Try a generic map off of the dynojet website first to see if that suits. That costs F all. It may be good enough for your needs.

I would also go for the leo vince gp over the danmoto. if you like the leo vince brand then have a look at the evo 2 as they are a little cheaper

Even if it doesn't, with the O2 eliminator plugged in there is no need for the lamba sensor.

Yeh it doesnt matter aslong as you have a power commander with an o2 eliminator. when you remove the lamba sensor cable tie it up somewhere, dont remove it just incase your m.o.t man is a little strict and you need to put everything back as it was
