Can anyone tell me, when a R & G tail tidy is fitted to an RR4, if there is provision to fit the original black and silver plastic heat shields? I have seen pics on R & G website, and phoned them, but I cannot obtain a definitive answer. I am suspecting the R & G brackets might not accommodate. Has anyone modded this?

You looking at another bike Nigel??

Looks like the R&G is a bit tight to accommodate the original heat shields there mate. The exhaust doesn't look too clever with them missing does it!!! o_O

Yeah, found a mint 2004 with only 4,500 miles (verified by MoTs).

I'll probably source the standard number plate fender and reinstate the black/silver trim if I can't adapt, or if no one's able to offer a solution. It just looks unfinished as is.

Cheers for that, Paul. Yes, it does seem they're readily available. I've downloaded the schematic parts diagram from Fowlers so I can order the appropriate mountings etc.

Cheers, Sulaco. You've probably seen on my new thread (My eBay Gem) that I have the original goodies. Was merely trying to find out if anyone had adapted the R & G. I've set my mind to putting it back to original.
