Helllo, as the title says, I'm here on behalf of a friend. I'm currently helping him get his 2005 CBR1000RR (Repsol Replica) back on the road after over 11 years storage! I'm posting on the Intro forum first as I know what it's like to see people come on a board straight up wanting something without introduction - I'm on a couple of Kawasaki sites myself (ZX12R & Ninja H2 owner). I'm here to see if I can source an oem front fender/mudguard for a 2004/2005 CBR1000RR in the Repsol scheme. His has got a cracked right lower front section after a fight with a disc lock. I've repaired it temporarily but ideally an oem replacement is the only thing suitable for his bike as it's his pride and joy! I've looked on a few parts listings on the regular shops but seems to be an out of stock item. There are a couple of aftermarket sites offering what seems to be decent copies but never quite sure of them. I'm in Soutth Australia. Any help gratefully accepted, even if it's to tell me I'm out of luck! Cheers, Don.

Thanks fellas, I know I'm going to have a hard time finding it, they seem to be pretty rare for the genuine part. I've tried posting this in the Wanted forum but apparently I don't have enough rights for that! Also after looking around it seems the mudguard also fits from 05 to 07 if correct?
Ah, correction, I have posted in the wanted forum! Got confused with another cbr1000rr site I joined that denied me posting there!
Just to let be known, I've posted in the wanted forum about getting the original guard fixed and repainted etc. Hopefully this will negate the need for another, very rare, repsol guard! Cheers, Don.
Yep, tried various sites, the oem guard is very rare in the deep blue/black colour with stickers. Should be picking up the repaired and repainted guard in a couple of days, so will see how it turns out!
Just to formally close off this thread, I got the repaired guard back and it's great! The repairer did an excellent job, now it's properly repainted and clear coated again!
