Firstly, I ain't no hero, so i doubt i'd ever need them, However due to unforseen circumstances it looks like im going to have to purchase a set for the blade, you know how it is, Sunday dinner time your sat in the bikes home sharing a glass of brandy and a couple of cigs, listening to the rain dripping off the roof you start to take notice of the little things? well i noticed the right hand side hero blob is missing from the foot peg, now the blades only been in there 3 months and its took me this long to notice, well i got there in the end, so ive had a look on the well known auction site and its looking around £16.00 for a pair, just incase your wondering, ive had a good look round else where and the only thing i can see missing now, is my arse on the seat putting some miles on her.
Personally i'd remove the other one and wouldn't bother with 'em. Once ya got ya knee down ya not likely to want any more lean, not on the type of roads round this neck o the woods anyway. They go from reasonable to pot holes and sod all grip mid corner.
Your toes will touch down before the blogs mate .. I wouldn't bother either . There is none on my SES sets
I think i will do what blagger said, wont miss the other one, its well know around these parts that i wont ever get that far over just pi$$es me off the fact it must have fallen off bringing the bike back from the dealer PDI my arse, good job ive got Bats, or by blade will be leaving a trail of parts all over the roads
Just an update, Now removed the other Hero Blob, least it looks the same now, i was looking forward to using my new spanners on it, sadly it was loose too Damn it
This one time at band camp... Yep, here is another r6 story! Used to get hero's down on track, but nowhere near on the road!! As for blade, don't see it haopening, ad the others said, just take the other one off!! If you get touch down, you don't want it to happen anyway lol
