Hello fellow bladers.. just getting back into biking after a 15 year break and just purchased a mint 2006 blade low miles, people think I'm mad at 56 buying another bike lol but I'm pretty sure I'm going to enjoy it

Welcome to the forum Barrie, great choice of bike and year.

Never too late IMO and I am a wee bit older, just take it easy until you get back into your stride. The Blade is a pretty forgiving bike, it's so easy to ride and can get to silly speeds before you have noticed.

Enjoy the bike and the forum.

Age doesn't count anymore on bikes as long as you want to and can ride. Whether you are 16 or in your 80's if you feel great riding then who cares.Welcome and enjoy yourself:)

    Welcome.

The average age of a blade rider is quite scary. Both physical and mental age but for opposite reasons :D

Mate at 56 your not mad, but just take it easy. I'm a tad older than you, and not long back from my 2nd Euro Road trip.
Both just under 2000 miles, longest day in the saddle 11 hrs ! (not bad for an old'n)

Well strictly speaking that's not true. If you find yourself picking your breakfast cereal by its fibre content or you've ever knocked one out over a black and white picture of Sophia Loren you actually might be.
