Aged Newbie here :-( I've had a number of Yamaha R1's in the fairly short time I've been riding (and still have an old school 1999 R1 4XV) but a friend gave me a go of her Fireblade in the Spring and I've been wanting one ever since. Wanted an underseat exhaust and pointy nose so I now have an 07 "Rothmans" Blade Loving it.... It's a bit flashy for an old git, but I do think it looks pretty. Looking forward to putting some miles on it. Cheers all.
Hi Gerry, and welcome. Yep, agree that it looks bloody brilliant. Always liked the 'Rothmans' and 'Castrol' also. Had I have seen that on eBay or Bike Trader, you may well have not been owning it now!!
