Hello, A sad day today, have sold my loyal friend a gsx-r600, in nearly 5 years and 18000 miles she never missed a beat, with 2 trips to the TT and a visit to the MotoGP under her belt and many happy hours in the saddle it will be sad to see her go come Monday morning. The good news, it meant I was able to order a new Blade so thought I best get my self registered on a forum as I have a whole new world to explore. The name is Matt but go by MrB and am living in Cornwall, been here for about 4 years. I am a service manager for a Yamaha and Honda dealer, which has it's perks so if I can be of any assistance to other members please let me know. Cheers.
Thanks, am near St Austell. No pics yet will find out Tuesday when I can expect delivery, it's a 2012 Blade in black.
hi and welcome matt,my last bike was a gixer 600 too great bike loved mine as well am sure you"l love your new blade, enjoy the site mate
No can't say I do, not by that name anyway. The itch to change started when the demo blade needed running in and unfortunately I got the job for the weekend (hard life, I know). After 300 miles I knew I had to have one. Not been an easy decision by any stretch as I do love my gixer been such a great bike, we've looked after each other. Plus the small matter of explaining/persuading the misses why I wanted, couldn't say I really needed a new bike, got round that one eventually. Well to be honest I just plowed on with the idea. Roll on delivery day.
Welcome in MrB. I got down your way once or twice. duporth, think that's how to spell it? Many years ago used to bring school trips down to the holiday place there. Nice part of the world you live in. Enjoy your time here. Ooooh, and don't forget those pictures when you get the bike
The guilty temptation responsible for turning my eye away from the loved Suzuki Honda CBR1000RR 2012 Fireblade by (MrB), on Flickr
Hi Matt/MrB, welcome to another west country boy. Don't you go getting over excited now and go to bed early and it won't be many sleeps until the FireBlade fairy comes down your chimney. Cheers Ken
Welcome to the forum mate, I'm guessing you work at Damerals then? The demonstrator looks sweet, looking forward to seeing the pictures of yours.
