Hi, I'm David. I'm 37 and I live in Budapest, Hungary. I have an'04 1000RR. I also have a Suzuki K8 GSX-R750 track bike and a Suzuki LetsII 50 ccm beast. I started riding a '71 50 ccm Simson Schwalbe when I was 14. I was happy with that until the age of 29. Then, I had this sudden idea of buying a big bike, and within two weeks I had my '91 VFR750F, a V4 legend. It was (and still is; alive and kickin' at the new owner) a fantastic bike, but I wanted sg sporty. So I bought what had been a dream of mine, the Fireblade. Having been inspired partly by Dr House's 'Blade, I was happy to find some Repsol aftermarket fairings, which I now have on the bike. However, with the gixxer supposedly taking over track duties, I think I'm gonne put back the original HRC fairings. The bike is basically stock. I have Racetech 1.0 kg/mm springs + Racetech valve kit front, a dubble-bubble windscreen, flapper mod, -1/+2 gearing and that's it. Nothing to get too excited about, but I just love this bike, the way it handles and everything. I've read a few threads here, and found that there are some really nice folks on this forum. I'm looking forward to having a few questions, and maybe drop in my 2 cents when it comes to the few topics I have some experience with.
Welcome to the forum. Some cracking pics there, and it looks like your having some fun on those roads.
Szia David! Welcome to the forum! I have family in Budapest and have visited them a couple of times. I was over there to welcome in the new Millenium in 2000. You're right there are some great guys on here and all the answers you'll ever need concerning your bike!
