    Hi all
Tried posting already and it didn't work (sorry admin)
I am looking for some info.I have a 2000 sp1 which I use for pleasure only and had hoped to keep but I need something for longer rides and the sp1 is tiring when on long or slow runs,so im gonna have to change it
im considering a cb1000r but the windblast is putting me off...I had a run on a 929 blade and its sporty but comfy too...what I really like is the cbr 1000rr6/rr7 can anyone advise me if it is ok to live with as an everyday bike and for long runs?
Is it as comfy as the 929?
don't want anything as aggressive as the sp1 riding position
    any info or advise welcome

Hi fella, same here not had a 929 but I had a 954, and now an RR6, it's all day comfy, I go to Europe for a week every year on it, all day in the saddle and no problems, use it every day usually to and from work for a 30 min commute, never misses a beat and doesn't leave me aching!

Welcome to the forum mate, I ride an 08 blade nearly daily now and am 5'11" and the 04-07 are slightly more roomy so you should have no problem

Everyone is different, people will say of you can't be big distances on any sports bike. But with how easy the blade is to ride confidently. Comfort levels soon come good.

I went from a 929 to an RR7... the 929 is WAAAAY more comfy for me (Im 6ft and "chunky"... not fat... no, definetely not fat.......)

The main difference being the seat-to-bars height difference... noticeably more extreme on the RR7.

That said, the RR7 is still a comfy enough (when compared to more extreme sportsbikes, like a 1098)... I found fitting some tank grips made a massive improvement to the comfort.

    Oh, and welcome!!!

I had a 929 and loved it, you commute or race with the thing, comfy on long rides too. Just my view of course. Welcome
