Just a few pics of the High Force waterfall at Middleton in Teesdale. I went here for a day trip with school yonks ago. On a forum Fireblade day out last year I noticed the sign. I have passed it a couple of times this year whilst out on my bike trips. As no one was up for a bike ride last Sunday I decided to go here with Joanne, park up and have a walk to see the fall. Quite a good site to see for only ten minutes walk. If you want to see the falls from the other side the total walk will be about four miles, about an hour or so. I'd like to go see it after a good downpour , the noise would be amazing. TBH if someone had shown me these pics and said they were from The Rockies or Yosemite I would have believed them.
Yosemite and the Rockies are great, but the place for multiple falls is Iceland. try Dettifoss, as featured in the Alien prequel.
Great pics. Looks a nice place to visit. I'd be tempted to try some long exposure shots there if your camera supports that - they would look awesome
