Anyone else having issues with the clip on the visors breaking off? Gone through two now only had the helmet four months. They are replaced under warranty but I've been told this is operator error and will not be replaced further.

Need input from anyone with the same lid had any failures?

My visor clip completely falls off never to be seen again. The RPHA-10 Lorenzo I bought has a 5 year warranty so I plan on asking for a replacement or my £400 back.

Been looking at one of these. So thanks for this....

Can't be as bad as my arai's at mo, the pod went on my spare lid last week! 2 in a fortnight.

Me and arai are finished :(

I've worn one of these lids since they were launched - got through 2 visors

The tip / technique from Oxford Products the importer is to unclip the visor with the centre clip, but lift with the side edge not the clip.

Touch wood that is working but I agree its annoying and lets down an othewise top notch lid.

glad I paid £180 for my first all black and £225 for my Ben Spies rep. - that said the £400 Lorenzo one looks stunning!

I too was thinking of deserting the Arai camp for a HJC, but now I'm not sure. The visor changing on the Arai is a pain in the you know what, but so far, touch wood I've never lost a side pod, or had to replace a visor because of it breaking. So maybe I'll stay with the Arai.

im another arai user - never lost a side pod and yes the visor is a pain in the pot bottom but if its a issue - give it to the arai sales person and get them to change it over for you is always a good bet.

unfortunatley my Kreiga restrics said sales person attending tours / ride outs for visor change overs lol

riding i do means plenty of visor changes and i think the pods break down / go brittle / self implode with use - always the same lug which fails.... mine seem to last a couple of years then just turn shite... and for £40 a pop it's pissing me off. not to mention the hassle if away on tour, on a ride out etc etc if having to gaffa tape your £500 quid lid together to get home

    ave 15k a year use?
