Can't really give a good review as only had HM sitting on there mate it really is plug and play and does everything I need . The plug and play done it for me as I'm useless if had to be hard wired to be honest .
Hm dash is plug and play where as the translogic need to be wired up, the translogic cosmetically looks nice but would go for the hm due to ease of fitting
Anyone know the feature differences? Don't mind hacking and cutting..could sell the blade loom plug with my 2012 dash then!
Not to bad at all other thing I like about HM dash aswell os the different screen layouts race road x2 and a data screen . AIM dash does look mega though
the biggest difference is the HM has built in GPS for timing, the t/logic has a manual button, which is pants tbh. same with the basic AIM,i don't think it comes with the GPS unit, you either have to buy the the GPS sensor separate,or upgrade to the next level of dash.(things could have changed, but this is hw it was when I looked into it.) but,if you want to think away from the norm, have a look at racetecnology dash2.it's a very trick bit of kit, well priced for the spec and has full data logging functions.
I used it with the data logging unit for a few years, and the s/w can be hard to learn (but no harder thann the AIM s/w) and gives some very good bits of info.
here you go. Products » Display products » DASH2 PRO - Racing - Race Technology Ltd - Automotive Technical Excellence
the dash itself is good, but it's the data you can get through the logging which is very usefull (if your into that kind of thing),and they are based in Nottingham,so very good for aftersales help+set up
I fitted the Translogic to my 748R, made a carbon mount for it. Was fairly simple to wire in and looked awesome, very clear. Not seen an HM myself.
Both have a fancy display, gear indicator and shift indicator etc. The HM has a gps with auto lap timing which sells it for me, the translogic has a manual push button on the bars so for me not entirely accurate and something else to think about
