Hi guys Thought I'd give you a review of the GP shifter now that I have managed to cover a decent enough amount of miles with it fitted. Now to clear this up I was never really someone who would look into something like this, and genuinely thought that it was surely just a bit gimmicky, and I also like being involved when riding the bike. (Same with cars, I won't have an automatic). Having read on here and spoken to others that have and rave about them, I thought I'd take the plunge and find out what the fuss was all about, and at worst case if I didn't like it it could try and recoup some of the cash and sell it if needs be. In all honesty I don't think I will have another bike without 1 now. Having just torn up 2000 miles across the Pyrenees I love the thing. The time you gain even on a road bike is instant. I especially liked just popping it up the gears just cruising at a contant. The fun really begins though when you pin in and feed it the gears. Things soon pick up pace and effortlessly. Another worthy note and something a few others will add to is that the service I received was second to none. Even after a slight problem, a call and quick as a flash a new shifter landed on my doorstep, no questions asked. Fantastic customer service. All in all 1 happy customer.
I'm the same with autos mate and thought the same about shifters and I got to say I agree with all of that apart from I only have the poor mans version HM plus but still great! Not tried the GP not as flash as you

I have had mine installed for almost two months now. This thing rocks. I agree I will never ride another bike without one. The log is a great tool for seeing your average shift times so you can adjust the HMSS times. My first to second gear time is a bit high but to be expected. Cruising is just pure sexiness as it works nice and smooth. And the sound it makes when on full throttle gets me everytime. Never get tired of hearing that sound. If you can afford it go with the GP as it's upgradeable and hopefully soon more options like traction control will come available. Pure sexiness. Not trying to jack OP. Nice video I've just trained the shifter to learn the gears on the stands. Works flawlessly. Amazing piece of technology!
