Having a problem with the HM Plus SS on my 04 blade. Did a track day the other week at Oulton Park. Worked fine for 2 sessions then the next session it just wouldn’t shift at all. It’s in race shift with ses rearsets. Had to use the clutch for the rest of the session. Got the bike in the garage and had Matt from Smallboy trackbikes have a look at it. On the LCD screen it was set with both C and E on so he set it to just C. Kill time was 60 and sensitivity at 80. Had it on the paddock stands and tried it through the gears and it was fine with shift flashing every gear change. Took it out and same again. Pushing on the shifter and nothing so had to use the clutch. Finished the session and left the bike on the stands. Decided to take it out for next session and it was working perfect with nothing changed on it. Happy days! At Anglesey yesterday and worked for the first session then same again. Got it on the paddock stands and went through the gears changing perfect with the shifter. Took it back out and nothing. For the price I’ve paid for it I didn’t expect this problem. I had issues with my HM plus after 18 months from purchase but mine was creating a misfire. Disconnected and ran without but contacted HM who were brilliant asking me to return the unit. They discovered it was resetting itself to 100% sensitivity so it detected just about every bump. They replaced mine free of charge so its worth a call.
