Hm q/s settings for a 09

    Oh dear scotty.... not another question...,

    you should have just rang, mine is set to 65 sensitivity and 60 kill time

    I know I know it's gettin bananas things keep changin and not fitting and it's jus not a Gixxer lol

    I'm gettin there. Just about. Didn't want to pester u any more. Sweet thanks il set that in. The bazzaz is a pull type and i need push type so had to pull the Hm out. Lookin like I might make thurs. if I get the rest done today il book later this afternoon

    The hm can be either pull or push or have both active.

    So you fitting bazazz or HM I'm confused ?

    Had mine 55 sensitivity 60ms if that helps

    my bazza is a pull sensor type which is no good for my rearsets. i was goin to sell my hm but now the bazza is the wrong way around il have to use that for a while

    So why not keep the hm and sell the bazzar?

    Doesn't the bazza connect to the t/c. The traction is the bit I wanted really ?

    55 on the HM is usually a good start.......

    Kill times depend on where you want it to be slick, if in the midrange then 62ms is good if in the upper as low as 55. If your bike is lurching then the kill time is too long if its hard to shift then it's to short. You can set your shift light to be the same place as your shifter is slick! Sensitivity depends on what rearsets and linkage your running, you don't want it too sensitive but it should show SHIFT on the LCD when load is on the box not when you just move the lever, don't for get to look at your rider ergonomics I.e your boot does not fiddle with the lever in a just riding along position. Direction speaks for it's self but worth setting or it will kill the motor when you down shift into neutral and can cause stalling.
