Hi all do u know if a hm quick shifter will fit my 2010 blade with pc5 fitted the shifter is off a 2009 blade and its not the + model shifter. Cheers folks
As far as I know it wont, the HM PC works with 4 injector bikes like the CB1000R I had with PCV and HM PC by cutting the fuel, the blade 08+ has 8 injectors and I think only 4 are controlled by the PCV so would require the Dynojet secondary fuel unit to control the other 4. The HM plus cuts the spark at the coils direct, and so works with the 08+ bikes, its also standalone so does not need the PCV I hope this is all correct, Arthurbikemad is the guy to talk to, what he does not know aint worth knowing
Thanks for the reply.... so basically the Hm quick shifter does not cut the spark? Only the + model does this..... so if I want to keep my power commander fitted and have a hm quick shifter its neefs to be the hm+???
