My HM Quickshifter Plus unfortunately stopped working but I am not sure when or what has happened with it. I had a friend help me take it off completely and I sent it to HM Quickshifter themselves and I was told it was faulty, it is fried but the LCD unit was working. My concern is how it became fried. I have had charging problems in the past and over autumn/winter I left the bike in storage without an ability to keep the battery on charge so when I went to take the bike out I needed help from the RAC to start the bike with some juice to the battery. Can someone please advise me why my shifter was found to be fried but the LCD unit was still operating.
