Was thinking of getting a HM Quickshifter Plus of Quickshifter GP, however HM have introduced the HM Quickshifter Plus SS with Seamless Shift technology as used in the GP shifter. Here is the spec - Hm Quickshifter Plus SS | Hm Quickshifter Australia Any of you guys got one fitted. Was interested to hear how it compare to the plus and GP prior to purchasing one
The people I've spoken to with the gp love it as it's super smooth even from 1st to 2nd due to the ss technology. For the extra 50 quid or whatever it is for the ss over the plus new I would go for it
The SS is not quite the same as that mate, the GP has separate kill times for each gear as well as HMSS, the Plus SS will only shorten the kill times so if set at 55 for the upper rev range it will always be to short for 1st to 2nd, the Plus SS does not extend the kill times. The GP is another level in Quick shifter tech! It has set kill times for each gear and HMSS tech too, so you can have longer kill times from 1-2 and individual times for the other gears, PLUS it will trim the times back of they are too long, take note like I say the GP is another level in QS technology! The SS is a step up from the Plus model.
