My HM Quickshifter is not working, the LCD unit is not showing SHIFT even after changing the sensitivity to 100% as advised in the manual. I am not sure what to do now but I have had good service from HM Quickshifter and good use of the shifter over many years so this is nothing against HM Quickshifter themselves. Not sure how to remove it should I need to either, this is on a 06 Fireblade. Also, when I swing the fuel tank out of the way I dislodge the breather hose and I am not sure how it’s meant to route down the side of the bike; photos would be even better, please.
Also, the wire from the LCD unit was bunched up and neatly tucked away and it is now lost, some garage has moved it and I am not sure if it has been trapped somewhere. I wish I had more confidence right now and tools so any help would really be appreciated.
Seemingly the wires weren’t trapped but even after changing the settings to extension and sensitivity to 100% I still couldn’t get the LCD to display SHIFT so I took the shifter off thinking I could leave the loom on until I hear back from HM Quickshifter but the bike won’t start so I will take the loom off too tomorrow. Does anyone know what I can do now as you seemingly get a year warranty and it is way over a year since I bought the shifter from HM Racing when they were in Orpington.
I'm not familiar with the HM shifters but when my translogic wouldnt shift I sent it back to their office and they repaired it for me. Turned out the cable was damaged internally on mine. HM may offer the same service.
