Can this be used for partial throttle shifts? Will this fit an early ZX10R C1H (2004)? I believe the coils changed on them mid 2004, and +ve and negative were reversed. Cheers Garry
As with all Quickshifters, they are by their nature a race product and work at their best when hard on the throttle. As long as you are hard on the throttle you will be ok. They are not designed to make the bike an "auto" but to change up a gear in the shortest time possible. I have not heard of the coils changing polarity on the ZX10's at all. The YK (Yamaha/Kawasaki) are an exact reverse of the SH (Suzuki/Honda) so if they are reversed to normal you would need an SH loom.
