HMRC emails

    Just had two emails from HMRC about tax refunds due.It gives you a PDF file to open.Delete this email if you get one because HMRC do not send out emails or telephone you about your tax affairs.Phishing bank/card details from your computer is what these lowlifes are trying to do.

    Yep had this a couple of years ago, phoned hmrc and they said exactly what you just did

    It's hard to tell HMRC and the Phishers apart. They are both after money they don't deserve the only difference being the Phishers are good at what they do.

    You can tell with the grammar and spelling mistakes if you study the emails carefully.
