Was speaking to Rich today from RB Engineering whilst setting up my new Q/S and we got chatting about how many Blades owners are champing at the bit to get in to their Honda ECU's. It's closer than U think Boy's!
Cheers mate. It would be good to see what they could do with the bike other than just adjust the fueling. Which is why we went down the route of the Woolich for the tracker.
Funny how you can flash bmw dim sport but the honda Ecu is hard to crack but your right si it's coming sooner than you think
I spose U could look at it like that? My username is usually shortened to Sine mostly or just Jay Anyways no probs!
No mate. As with the PC if you want it perfect u need to get it to a Dyno. The big benefit with these kits is that it lets you activated deactivate certain fault codes if needs be. Plus a whole lot more. Especially with the likes of the Kwak. It let's you adjust the setting of the traction control for your own personal preference and a whole lot more. It really is a cracking but of kit.
Honda have always been a real pain regarding the ECU's,.saying that,at least you could a get a wiring diagram for them, try getting one for a BMW s1000rr,even the dealers don't have them, they have to get the specific wiring diagram from BMW motorad UK.bunch of fucking muppets!!! ahh that feels a little better
Cheers Col, don't know much about it TBH, I know about power commanders but even with them I usually D/L a map file from DJ for the appropriate can etc. I know that's not the right way to do it but it costs nothing and as long as it's in the ball park then in my eyes it's fine.
It'd have to be cheap for me tho as you can buy a PCV for less than £300 and a used PCIII for less than £150
