Honda free breakdown cover

    Hi does any one know if the free Honda 2 year breakdown and warranty cover includes full european cover ????? :)

    Hi, I was told no when i asked the dealer.....upgrade for a 3rd year warranty and apparently you get the full 3 years euro breakdown cover.

    Answer is no .If you want it. Honda uk recommend AA Five star cover 0800 444500.

    I've checked this out too and as everyone says it doesn't. They put me through to the AA who actually provide the breakdown cover but it's expensive.

    I used these people last year Breakdown Cover - European Breakdown Cover - Motorcycle Breakdown Cover. When I wrote of my Blade in Germany I rang them and they sorted out a flight home the next day and I claimed the taxi fare from airport to home off them later.

    I was lucky that I had mates with me to give me a lift from the accident site back to the house where we were staying and to the airport the next day but they would have covered all of that too.
    I wasn't too impressed with the immediate help over the phone, it was out of hours and basicly said we'll sort it tomorrow, which wasn't confidence inspiring but the next day everything was sorted just as they said it would be.

    I'll use them again this year.

    I have Family RAC cover which covers the person not the vehicle which I like as I can be in the daily drive, kit car or on the bike and i'm covered. I did ask about adding euro cover for the year due to my week away in le mans in July. was almost as much as my existing cover

    So going to just do as I always have and book for the time i'm away only. normally between £40-60

    I also have breakdown cover that covers me not the car/bike. found it very handy as i was in newcastle last year and my mates car broke down and he had no cover but because i was in the car the rac came out and fixed it

    What sort of cost were involved to upgrade to 3 year warranty with the full euro breakdown ???? :)

    Check your insurer/broker also, as Carole Nash give you AA cover inc. Euro breakdown/recovery all-in, so others may do similar.
