Read a couple of threads about the fitting of these. I fitted a power bronze one to my 09 with no problems at all. Seems there is an issue with cracking fairings if you don't loosen the mirrors. Is this right ? There can't be that much difference between the 12 and 09 , is there ?
Yup loosen mirrors let them hang on wires lot easier than trying to peel back fairing hoping it don't crack
Had to loosen both mirrors to fit my Zero Gravity Sports Touring screen, you'd have no chance otherwise of getting the bottom two locators in and keeping the rubber washers in place as well.
