You'd think for 90k they'd take some better photos!! Not my cup of tea but even at that price a sound investment...
I still think they look fugly. I could do better than wasting that on that… I would give my bike to Arthur, and ask him to go to town on mods, and still have enough left over for another few bikes… hopefully anyway.
Shame to buy a bike just for an investment, they should be bought to be ridden hard, but who ever buys those will wrap them safely and wait a few years to sell them again, such a waste but then who would now spend £100k on a 125bhp bike to ride, that weighs more than our fireblades?
Its a motorcycle though, and last time I looked they are designed to be ridden It says used, it has lights and indicators and its best place is ridden imho. But hey, you can do what you like with your £85k lol But then I feel the same about old racing cars, bikes, classic cars, bike and vintage aircraft, let them do what they were designed to do, even if they only made 300
the same reason you buy any classic vehicle.why pay millions for a 50yr old ferrari when you can get a much quicker, better engineered one for a fraction of the price.?
Like I said its a shame to buy a bike or a car and not drive or ride it? But to store it away as an investment
I feel the engineering of the NR750 in amazing and trying to do something different. it's a rare as hell bike. very sought after and would be going in my dream bike garage along side another 20 or so bikes I would love to have
At least the NR750 was rare, look at what they are asking for this! Suzuki RG500 gamma | eBay These were under £5k new in 1987 I had a D reg one just like this and paid £3400 for it in 1998.
I don't think the passing of time has been kind to the looks of the NR750 in comparison to other bikes of the same era. I would have this made into a coffee table though (if I wasn't married of course)
