Well picked said Hugger up from the dealer today so another £190 lighter! Fitted it safto and was well pleased with the results! I also had my suspension set up a while ago to make it more compliant for the road, unfortunately due to this, my new rack and the luggage on the back plus my 16st bulk the Hugger has made gentle contact with the ABS plastic cover. It hasn't damaged it just left two very small black rub marks on it! I've wazzed the preload up two notches so will have to see how it goes. It's definitely not a Pillion machine now with this on it! Looking at the design there is no reason on earth why Honda couldn't make one to fit the ABS, there is acres of space between the back of the tyre and the underside of the Hugger so if the moulding was altered to indent 10-20mm near the rear all would be well.
Looks nice I've got same one on mine, it does keep a lot of muck off your shock, although the HRC panel underneath and rear light still get plastered.
Got one on my 08 as needed the 2012 huggers as have 2012 shocker - its not a cheap bit of plastic but fit / finish is first rate
