Love the idea of it, and it will be the nuts! BUT all very well taking deposits and all that but lets say you put down 500 deposit and then are told the bike 75,000.00! Im gonna guess its going to be 45k..

Honda have said (read it some where how true don't know) it will be ready for the 2014 WSB also they said a CRT bike will also be available for 1 million euros, but it's ready to race for those who have some spare cash and fancy a go, that's just the price for the bike, no spares etc etc etc, but unlike a RCV you do own it and get to keep it unlike a lease bike.

I'd rather have a tricked up blade.Thought it would have been a show stopper and not a 2012 blade lookalike. Not worth more than 15k IMO.

I just cant believe thats the finished product. the desmo wins hands down if it is

Looking closely i think the front forks and callipers will cost more than the rest of the bike put together :)

I like the overall shape, not sure the swingarm compliments it though, looks like it is upside down lol. If I had the money I would have one, must get the estate agent in.

I neither like or dislike it if that makes sense, its not the worst looking bike but I wouldn't rush to buy one (if I was rich)
I would however cue up to ride one

I wouldn't look too hard it the image, it's a mock up of what may be...

No one knows what it will look like, I hope as I can't afford one it looks like shite and is slower than my 07....lol Well I can wish, if however I were to win the loto Id buy one no matter what it looks like coz we all know it will be the billy rollox.

Honda always have bad colours theses day except the repsol, TT lengends, black and the HRC. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder but that RCV is awesome. I want one. I agree with Fez about the desmo but I bet the Honda rips its arse off. Yes the swing arm is upside down just like the GP it's replicating. It will look great in repsol liverly. Honda know how to make em and its about time they caught up with the euro bikes. I hope they blade with a v4 though. That I would buy!

Looking at the patent mcn found it might have the headlights hidden in the air intake using LEDs to make it look almost the same as the real deal.

That was an made up image by MCN some time ago. No connection to Honda at all mores the pity. I think they took ideas from all the popular bikes at the time and threw them together on he page. Turned out ok tho and better than the official effort.

I'm trying to post a image as I'm new to this and it keeps putting my pics upside down. I went into my pic album and turned them upside down but it keeps on making them the wrong way round.

Is this a Kar Lee photoshop picture as it has "Kardesign" on the screen?

It looks so much like the works Hondas (of course, they take their side stands off ;))
Even looks like it has a hydraulic clutch salve cylinder as the works bike has, but no master cylinder! (And the magnetic torque measuring transducer on the output shaft!!)

Yeah the torductor measures small fluctuations of the magnatised output shaft to determine output power, Or in layman terms an on board dyno that records acutal output power, the ECU uses the data to smooth out power.. nice..
