Gilsey not a big deal I have my eye on something else ,I think Honda killed the sp they said only 170 when launched then knock another 170 repsol out,no disrespect to repsol owners I think Honda are a shower of shite only interested in sales ,expect people to pay top dollar then de value it straight away,and never lauch anything for years unlike other manufactures who are moving with the times ,they said 170 and should have stuck to that it makes the sp worthless in my opinion no better than a standard blade

 

Shame that Graeme, come on tell us what you have your eye on?

I've been thinking the same about mine! Asked dealer what's is worth and he said about 10k it's only done 650 mile and only 17 of them since the last service

 

Be careful with that mate as I think dealers are selling second hand ones with more mileage on for around £13K

Hi Graeme. I thought exactly this when Honda suddenly announced that the SP was being launched in Repsol colour scheme for 2015. I and obviously you only expected them to sell the initial 170 in Red White & Blue. I'm very tempted by that registration plate, wish I hadn't sent it back now.... LOL.

 

Don't think I'll buy Honda again after the shite customer service I got when buying the blade

 

I think some of you guys must be naive. Why buy a SP for an investment? It is only a blade with a few extras on. It was never going to make money. Honda were always going to REPSOL it and release more. Myself and a few friends reckoned we could convert a standard blade into an SP for a few grand.

 

Bikes should be bought to be ridden, period
